The BIG move countdown has started: After a lot of planning we are finally in our last week before we move to our new office in Nantwich, Cheshire.
We have been busy getting the new office ready for us to move into and it is looking great! As always before a move there is still a lot to do, packing equipment and stationary from the current office, labelling everything ready for the move and having a sort out of everything we don’t need to take.
Although our current office is a lovely place, we have just outgrown it and with three floors the new office has a lot of space for us to expand into. Which with the current services that we offer and the new technology that we are moving into, we are definitely going to need that extra space.
Nantwich is a lovely market town with a population of over 17,000. Its origins date back to Roman times when salt was used by the Roman garrisons at Chester and Stoke-on-Trent. It has a long and interesting past and is mentioned in the Domesday Book, had a great fire that destroyed a large section of the town in December 1583 and was besieged several times during the civil war by Royalist forces. More recently it has been the site for the Nantwich Show for over 100 years which grows year on year.
VI Resourcing hopes to become a recognised and valued part of the town, as well as continuing to be the one-stop shop for all things accessible for the visually impaired. It is an exciting time for everyone here and we are really looking forward to whatever the future holds for us in our new home!
